Bought this for my mom to use as a yarn bowl. She had been using my Bennington Potters batter bowl while visiting at my house. She runs the yarn out the spout, and the bowl keeps her ball of yarn from rolling around while she knits. The pottery bowl is smooth so it doesn't snag the yarn, and it is heavy enough/pretty enough to have sitting next to her chair. She loves it. I was a little worried the pouring bowl would be too small, but she says it works great for the type of yarn she prefers. I looked at a lot of pottery, ceramic and wooden yarn bowls on etsy before making this choice. This is very nice quality and the price is better than most on etsy. (And I love my batter bowl for use in my own kitchen)

These beautiful bowls are the absolute favorite at our "Deck Parties" now that we can be together again ;-) They are perfect for serving several different appetizers, crab dip remains the fav...And, they can be at multiple locations so there is no shuffling around...And, the Cool "handle" design makes them Sooo easy to "dip" without worrying about dropping them...Although, one or two "guests" do have a 'lil challenge with "sharing" ;-) Thank You so much for the Best Beautiful Craftsmanship too!!!

This looks just like the one I bought from Bennington several years ago in a different glaze. I just love it! I was so disappointed it had been discontinued. This size is PERFECT for mixing small amounts of ANYTHING!!. It has a natural-fitting handle - the bowl itself is quite sturdy. It is my favorite go-to mixing bowl. I highly recommend it!! First, I love how this looks on my counter and table! So highly functional and fits perfectly in my hand! I use it for whisking eggs most mornings! I have even used it as an extra gravy server one holiday dinner. It pours perfectly with no dribbles! Everyone who sees it, wants one! I love it! Thanks for making such a stunning little piece!
