My sister in law bought me one of these a few years ago, I just started using it regularly about 6 months ago and I have to say that this is really the only way to bake a pie that matters. It is actually a real sized pie pan, so you can load it up with your filling of choice. The crust cooks up correctly so you can scoop up a whole piece of pie and serve it neatly on a plate for your guest (or self!). I did a Nantucket Christmas Pie in it the other day and it was spectacular! Do yourself a favor and buy this pan, it is indispensable for any serous baker or pie aficionado. I am buying a second one today because of the results and praises I have been getting with my pies since using the one my sis-in-law bought me!

I have one already and buying this as a gift for my niece who admired mine. These pie plates are gorgeous and strong. My first one has no chips after several years. The one I recently bought was shipped to me. It was packed very well, and arrived without any issues. Bennington knows how to keep their pottery safe for shipping!. I consider these pie plates heirloom items given the quality construction and unique glazes. Will be buying more products in the future.

Had received this one as a gift many years ago- perfect for Christmas morning quiche. Unfortunately it took a fall and broke. I thought I could live without it, especially since we are slowly downsizing- gave as a gift to ourselves and are finding even more excuses to use it. So lovely on the table !

I love this pie plate. I have a few recipes for pies (specifically Nantucket Cranberry "pie") that call for a larger-than-average pie plate. This one is perfect, and it coordinates with other Bennington Potters pieces in my collection. It can also be used in place of a standard square baking pan. Thank you for continuing to make such beautiful and useful pottery!

Just received this pie dish and not only is it beautiful, but I just baked the most beautiful triple berry pie in it. It was hands down the best pie I have ever baked in both taste and presentation. It baked beautifully and evenly and the fruit filling held together perfectly. My whole family declared it had to be this wonderful pie plate that caused it to come out so perfectly! Hands down this is the only pie plate I ever want to use!

I purchased this pie plate four years ago in Elements Gold. It is beautiful to look at plus use. Add a little more time to your recipe when baking. I have since purchased one for my daughter in the Black and Green, along with the muffin pan.
