We love taking this dish to friends & family dinner partys. The lid makes for handy travel, and a nice presentation. Imagine it full of mashed or scalloped potatoes! Makes a great housewarming gift.

We received this casserole along with a matching wood-handled serving tray in 1973. Used often and still going strong, even after 6 moves. Thanx for a superior product.

This casserole dish has already proven itself to be as strong as it is gorgeous. It survived a stew which someone placed in the oven and then decided to lie down 'for just a few minutes'. (Can't imagine who did that ........ me!)
Naturally the stew dried out, and the pot had scorch marks. But, surprise! it cleaned up easily, and looks just like new.
We were impressed, and it is now our go-to for oven roasts and stews. Plus, it's just absolutely beautiful.

It's Blue Agate so it us lovely! For us mostly will be used as a covered serving bowl. A gift to my wife, she loves it.

When this black on green casserole, packed to withstand a hurricane, I was so shocked I called the Pottery to say thanks. It is a beautiful piece of art, yet will get weekly use in my kitchen with pot roasts, hot casseroles and even cold salads. My table is blessed!

I've been putting something different in this every evening and popping it into the oven. It's the perfect size to have a family meal without a week's worth of leftovers. Holds a small roast, yet fits in our tiny microwave, too. Great for pasta bakes, roasted veggies, sea food, everything. Beautiful and timeless piece of our heritage to hold in your hands.
