I've purchased high-end tea from my "tea at the Empress" experience and now have a teapot that is more my style than the fancy, delicate china they used. Each teabag makes a generous amount of tea, and this pot is the perfect size! The shape is the stylishly squat and curved design that I love in a tea cup and pot. I bring this out for use with friends, and the set always draws comments, but I also have it by my side when reading. I have matching cups and saucers, a little snack plate and the sugar and creamer. Wish there were more small serving pieces in this gorgeous cashmere glaze!

My daughters each have one now I do as well! I love my ritual of making tea after dinner and enjoying more than one cup from my blue agate pot! It is such a sweet addition to my collection. The pot arrived quickly and so carefully packaged. It was like unwrapping a gift just for me! I do miss shopping at Potters Yard myself. I cannot wait until you open again!

I ordered the teapot in "Cashmere" to match the sugar and creamer that I already had purchased. I love all three pieces. The color is stunning. The teapot holds enough water for two to four cups. It keeps water warm for quite awhile. I would recommend the teapot.

Now having my personal sized tea pot adds to an afternoon ritual developed as a result of quarantine, I like taking some afternoon time to drink some tea and get caught up on a backlog of New Yorker readings. I love the cup and saucer - I usually use mugs- but the set of the cup/saucer and pot adds to the ritual

This teapot is not only beautiful, but functional. It pours very well, and the built-in strainer is so convenient. I work from home and love keeping it right by my desk with the Tankard mug so I can drink hot tea all winter long. Though I'm back in my home state now, I used to live in Vermont and enjoy keeping a little piece of it with me!

I have been collecting Bennington Pottery for many years. I just stopped to count my collection; sixty-seven, including my new teapot.
Every time I walk into my kitchen and see it sitting on the counter, I say to myself, this is the cutest teapot I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure it's my favorite piece.

More Beautiful than Pictures Show

The turquoise teapot is so much more beautiful in real life than pictures can portray, with brown speckles showing through near the edges as in the old Bennington Blue pieces, this has a gorgeous character, reminiscent of days long past when life was simpler. Teapot brews 4 cups and is perfect for loose leaf tea with its built-in strainer holes. This is a piece that gets used (and loved) every single day.
