I made apple streusel and served it in the dish at the table. Baked beautifully and presented well at the table. I love my new bakeware!

I have had a round baker in harvest gold for years. I love it and my huge apple pies look so pretty when presented in the beautiful dish. So this Thanksgiving I was asked to bring an apple pie to our host's celebration. Since my hosts love to bake, what better gift to give than something I love. They loved the round baker. They love the pottery. But there wasn't a towel? Thank you for making this perfect gift.

40 YEARS OF VERY DURABLE HIGH QUALITY BLUE AGATE ROUND BAKER

Our first Bennington Blue Agate 10" Round Baker was a gift to my wife from her father during 1983 when he visited us while we were living in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. The quality and durability of the Round Baker's craftsmanship served us really well for 40 years of frequent use. Unfortunately, it recently cracked when it was accidently dropped while being washed in a porcelin sink. Without a second thought we immediately ordered online a new one directly from Bennington which arrived on time as advised and in perfect condition due to a very impressive amount of protective packing and sturdy shipping box. We look forward to at least another satisfied 40 years of using our new Round Baker.

Yes, this lovely baker is great for the oven: fritatta, casseroles, hash, bread pudding, and more, but we also use it to keep fresh fruit out on the counter. It's just so cheerful to look at.
Usually we would probably select 'black on green', but during these trying times we decided that we need the cheerful 'morning glory' to bring a bright spot to our days. It does just that, and we love it.
It's a beautiful piece, functional, and versatile.

Twenty years ago, my brother gifted me this baker. I used it regularly since. Au gratin potatoes at family dinner, to die for brownies, delicious apple crisp. I fed each of my kiddos from their earliest days. It moved through 4 homes in 3 states. The old girl never let me down. Tonight she broke. I am so dang sad.

I love apples, but don't enjoy making apple pie in the traditional manner. The valley where I live is well known for the abundant varieties of apples grown here. Right after my round baker arrived, I threw together an apple crisp, with locally grown apples that was just the absolute best. While the global pandemic has eliminated my ability to shop, in person, it hasn't eliminated my ability to add pieces to my ever growing collection. Like everyone I know, I am eager to return to a more normal routine, but that will just have to wait until next year.

The Round Baker is simply beautiful! I possess several pieces of Bennington Pottery in which I am now mixing glazes. I have Agate, Morning Glory Blue, and now Black on Green. The quality cannot be beat! :)
